Santa Pod opened the gates for Japshow 2012 and as always put on a great event! The day got off to a cold and cloudy start with a few spots of rain, but luckily not enough to affect the racing. By lunchtime the cloud had cleared to leave blue sky and sun and an afternoon full of track action!
We arrived at 8:30 and the site was already packed with cars. The Show & Shine was filled with some of the best show cars from around the country, the club area was full with cars on display and the run up to the strip was backed up with cars waiting to race the 1/4 mile!
There was also drift demos taking place throughout the day and a display of precision driving in the live action arena thanks to Team Maximum Lock.
We must say a big thank you to Just Jap car club for inviting us to join them on their club stand. Despite the cold start to the day we had a great time and we are already looking forward to Japshow the Finale in September!
